IT Tutoring in Hampton Roads

Computer Tutor VB offers IT tutoring for people and businesses across Hampton Roads. Tutoring is in the name of the business, and showing you how to keep things running is part of every visit.

Lessons happen one-on-one, on your own computer, at your kitchen table or your desk. You learn on the machine you actually use, at a pace that suits you.

What this covers

• Getting comfortable with a new computer
• Email, files and folders, and the everyday tasks you do most
• Staying safe online and spotting messages that are not what they seem
• Short sessions for a small team at a business that wants everyone on the same page
• Going over anything that has been fixed or set up, so you know how it works

Questions are welcome. Bring a list, and we will work through it together.

For homes and for businesses

At home, tutoring can be as simple as learning the handful of things you do every day until they feel easy. There is no test and no rush.

At a business, tutoring can help a new person get settled or help a small team use the same tools the same way. It happens in your office, on the computers your people already use.

How it works

1. Email yourtutorrocks@gmail.com and tell me what is going on.
2. We set a time together. Hours vary by job, so the visit fits the work and your day.
3. I come to you, at home or at your business.
4. I fix what is broken, set things up the right way, and show you how to keep it running.

Email is how every visit gets arranged. There is no phone line.

Why Computer Tutor VB

I’m Ben Turner. I served 8 years in the U.S. Navy and have spent about 20 years in technical engineering and IT.

That work ranged from running enterprise infrastructure with more than 14,000 servers to leading technical services teams and building AI and automation systems.

Computer Tutor VB brings that experience to homes and businesses across Hampton Roads. No call center and no ticket queue, just one person who answers and shows up.
